1Password Review

I recently started using 1Password to manage passwords when I realised that all my accounts shared the same password. 1Password is the password manager I chose to manage my passwords, and for many reasons, including the watchtower feature and the ability to generate strong passwords. With 1Password, you can easily have different passwords for every account, however also manage to log into those accounts every time. 1Password makes it easy to stay secure and make sure none of your accounts are compromised.

Anker 6ft Braided Lightning Cable Review

I’m a big fan of Anker products – they come at a great price, and give a great deal for your money. I recently received the Anker 6ft braided lighting cable to review – it’s twice the length of Cable you usually get with your phone, and it has many times more durability and quality.

BlitzWolf BW-AS1 Wireless Speaker review

The BlitzWolf BW-AS1 speaker is an aluminium speaker that provides great sound quality that sounds great even when the volume is at max. If you are looking for a medium ranged wireless speaker, you won’t go wrong with this BlitzWolf speaker.

Agenda for iOS Review

Agenda is a note-taking app with a twist – it combines task management and scheduling with notes, and also integrates with your calendar. The app revolves around projects, allowing you to make notes, and add them to the Agenda view, or schedule them for later.

Agenda looks great and fits well into the iOS look. Agenda has both a Mac and an iOS version, so you’ll be able to access your notes on both your computer and on your phone. I’ll be looking at the iOS version of the app.

Aukey LT-T6 Lamp Review

Aukey make a wide variety of products, including lamps. The Aukey LT-T6 table lamp features a touch sensitive bottom metal base, which you can use to switch the lamp into different colours or different levels of brightness. The Aukey LT-T6 is a great option for those looking for a lamp that also features different lighting colours.

Spark Mail – Love Your Email Again

I’ve been using Spark by Readdle to manage my email since it’s release now – its the only email app I’ve found for iOS that simply works – notifications, sending and receiving all works great with no hassle, that other email apps handled badly. Recently Readdle released an update to Spark that brings many features catered to teams whilst also improving upon multiple aspects of the app. Spark is available for both iOS and macOS, and this review will focus mainly on the iOS app.

Lire – A Full Text RSS Reader for iOS

I’m a big fan of RSS feeds, allowing me to read the content I’m most interested in. I use Inoreader as the service for my RSS, however I’m not a big fan on the app. I’ve used other apps like Fiery Feeds too, and whilst they are great, I’ve found lire1 to be the best match for me. Lire connects to a great collection of RSS services, and the full text extraction that the app offers is better than any other I have used.

AdGuard Pro Review

AdGuard Pro has been discontinued due to Apple Store policy. However, it still works great, and I’ve been using it fine since.
Update (22/07/2019): According to the latest release notes, the app is back to being approved by Apple. Updates are served to both old and new users.

Nearly everyone knows about ad-blocking – when browsing on the desktop, its normal to have an ad-blocker extension installed onto your browser. On iOS, you can also block ads in Safari by using third-party apps, and AdGuard is by far the best ad-blocking tool on iOS. With the ability to block any ad, or element you don’t want to see in Safari, and even block ads in apps using the apps custom DNS server, if you want an ad-blocking app for iOS, AdGuard Pro is the best you’ll get.

Aukey Powered USB Hub Review

The Aukey Powered USB hub allows you to expand the amount of ports you have on your computer, making one port into seven. It’s a great choice for those who want more USB ports on your computer, and also includes three charging only ports to quickly charge your phone, tablet and other devices.

Using a Mechanical/USB Keyboard with an iPad

Many people use an external keyboard with an iPad, however few know that you can use a USB keyboard, and more specifically, a mechanical keyboard with your iPad. You can use the keyboard you use for your desktop already, you just need one tool that lets you connect your keyboard to your iPad.
