Apple Announces a New 9.7 Inch iPad for $329

Apple has just announced the release of a new, 9.7 inch iPad, aimed at schools and students. With the price of $299 for schools, or $329 for consumers, the iPad is one of the cheapest iPad’s released. However, this model rocks Apple Pencil support at the A10 processor, one of the most powerful Apple processors.

The new iPad will include Touch ID, an HD FaceTime camera, 10 hours of battery life, an 8-megapixel rear camera, LTE option, and the A10 Fusion chip.

The standout feature of the new iPad is the Apple Pencil support – perfect for students, especially considering the price, starting at $329, or $299 for schools. The iPad has an A10 processor, more than powerful enough to play the latest games.

Note that the iPad does not come with the Apple Pencil, so to purchase the Apple Pencil (at around $100) and a keyboard will bring the price up to $450, but you get a lot of iPad for the price. However, Apple has announced a collaboration with Logitech to create the Logitech Crayon, a $49 stylus.

The iPad comes in two sizes – 32 GB and 128 GB, lacking a 64 GB model. It is already available to buy on Apples website.

The new iPad is a really good option for students – it’s a low price for a lot of tablet, and is a great choice if you are looking for a device to use at school.
